Calculator data

When you request an estimate, your postcode is sent to Postcodes.io. The resulting coordinates and system settings are sent to PVGIS to calculate generation. Calculator details may appear in the URL fragment so you can revisit your results; take care when sharing that URL. Our hosting provider processes requests to operate and secure the site.

Optional analytics

With your permission, we load Google Analytics to measure page visits and usage. Google processes information such as browser and device details and uses cookies to distinguish visits. Our page-view events use only known page paths, with no query strings, URL fragments, referrer URLs or calculator inputs. We disable advertising signals and enhanced measurement.

Analytics cookies named _ga and _ga_* are configured to expire after 180 days, refreshed on use. Your accept or reject choice is saved in this browser’s local storage until you change it or clear browser data. If storage is unavailable, the choice lasts for the current page session.

You can use the site without analytics. Use “Cookie settings” at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Rejecting after acceptance stops analytics, removes accessible Google Analytics cookies and reloads the page. It does not erase data already sent to Google.
